Winner Listing

Hello,
Does anybody want to take over updating the winner listing?
With my dog Kirby gone, I have not taken a lot of P&S pictures.
I am quite busy with night photography, mostly auroras and enjoy it a lot.
I have updated the winner listing for the last 6 years, so I think somebody else
can take over. Jon (moderator) can set you up and fill you in what to do.

All the best and this is not saying I will not post anymore!

I'm sorry to hear about Kirby. We're treasuring our last months with our Smiley (he's been with us for going on 15 years, and is probably 17 or so), and we've lost more than a few pets over the past 30 years (we rescue), so I know how it is.

Whoever decides to step into Elfie's capable shoes, let me know and we'll work through getting the new "Powershot-series POTN Speed Challenge Winners List" set up. It'll have to be a new thread so you can edit it.

I reckon I could give it a shot.

It's been over a day since elfieh posted and one respondent. Looks like it's your show now, OH.
Here's how to start the new list (beginning with the winner of #368)
Start a new thread "Powershot-series POTN Speed Challenge Winners List" once #368's been judged

Post content should follow the pattern that's been in effect since the beginning:

To get the previous winners into the thread without having to retype them all - multiquote the current thread's posts.
In your new thread, start a new (second) post and use the first (newest winners) winner's info post; strip out the [QUOTE][/QUOTE] bbcode and add a line giving elfieh credit for maintaining that list.
Repeat this process for each of the additional posts listing winners in the thread (except they're already acknowledging the maintainers, so you don't need to add that).

Once the thread's complete, just edit your first post to add the new contests. As soon as I see it's up (PM me to make sure I catch it), I'll sticky the new thread and unstick the old one.

OK, I'm on it, but it will be a slow start due to schedule this week. I'll holler if I have questions.
