I do not know if this is the right place for this. If not, I hope the moderators will move. I found out last night that Allen Leichter, the owner of Allen's Camera, north of Philly passed away. I dealt with him and his people over the years, purchasing Bronica equipment, and then Canon equipment. He and his people were great to deal with. I know that they will carry on in the same profession manner. My condolences go out to his family. RIP.

I purchased my old D3s from him. Very sad news. :(

I talked to him just a few weeks ago when I purchased my 100-400ii from him.... very sad news indeed.

I considered him my friend even though I had never met him personally. A very knowledgeable guy that will be sorely missed by many of us. Prayers are with him and his family.

Sorry to hear that. I never met him, but he was a pleasure to deal with by phone and email.
