Thought I'd better continue the tradition of posting a duck photo, as I've just bought a new body: a Canon 5D mark III

I'd been thinking about it for some time, having found a bit of money hidden under the mattress, so when the offer of £500 off came up, I took the opportunity.

Not done much with it yet, just a walk round a local pond, but I'm beginning to feel it's potential (although I'll be keeping the 7D for sports/wildlife)

Here's the current line up (taken with a camera phone):

Also, realising I had no wide EF lens (only EF-S) added a 17-40 (could not warrent the cost of the 16-35 for the use I'd expect of it):

It's taken a few years, but I'm quite liking the flexibility I now have - just need to learn the 5DIII

A few more from the walk round the pond with the 5D & 100-400:

Thank you for sharing in my joy

Lawrence
