Took an early morning trip with a buddy here. Only an hour from my house which isn't bad. Tell me what you guys think please. I had a really hard time reducing noise while still keeping detail in the rocks on the first image. But I think it came out ok.

1) like the concept. flash might be set a bit too powerful. a more interesting pose and the flash lit area might do better off center.

2) very nice. The light coming from an "unknown" source adds a lot of interest. The exposure is more balanced than the first.

3) nice! like the framing. I'm partial to wide crops on landscapes.

4) not quite as interesting.

what camera and what noise reduction are you using?

super long exposure?

Thank you. Finally someone has something to say. Lol I'm using only Lightroom noise reduction. Although someone recently referred me to topaz noise reduction filters for pp and have yet to look into them.

On 1 I didn't use a flash. Just used an exposure brush for the rock area. It was taken around 4am. Still completely dark out.

2 was just before sunrise around 530am.

And 3 isn't just a wide crop it's actually a 2 shot pano I stitched together. This thing was so big it was almost the only way to get the whole thing in frame other than backing up extremely far.

Thanks again for the feedback. Glad you liked them.

1, 2 and 3 and great! Nice job! 4 doesn't do much for me.

1 - really, no flash?!?! Pretty slick edit.

2 - I like what you did with the light here, rock looks great and I like that you can faintly still see the stars - neat image, my favorite of the bunch!

3 - nice pano, love the colors!

Thanks for sharing!

Are you saying there was no light source at all in photo #1? You used only an exposure brush in that slot where someone is standing?

No in that slot there was a small led light creating my silhouette. On the outside of the slot(the face of the wall) is where I used the exposure brush.

Like them all, but #2 really sticks out to me. The light coming in from the side adds a great deal to it.
