grey market a7??

hi all,i read a post here earlier about a guy selling grey market a7 models.i can't find the post any more,has any one had any experience with grey market items as i am actually unsure as to what they are.thanx.

A grey market item is an item imported into a market in a manner that is not intended by the manufacturer (unofficial channels). The items are generally sold by sellers that are not authorized (have no association with the manufacturer) and as such are sold without warranty. This could be as complex as a large retail store importing from a 3rd party overseas supplier or as simple as you buying directly from an eBay seller outside your market. On the one hand your entry cost is generally lower but if you need warranty service it could end up being more costly.

thank you for the info,i am on the fence with a sony a7 so I'm sure if i find a great grey market deal it will psuh me over the edge.does any one have any info on purchasing a grey market a7
