May 10, 2015 10:05 | #1 Lightroom 5. When I use the dodge and burn the circle icon that allows you to view or edit are not showing up. The dodge and burn works fine, just can't see the edit circle after done. Not sure what has happened as it was fine a few days ago. I think a button was pressed on the keyboard by mistake, or maybe not.

If so you toggle it on or off with the O key. Sometimes not taking a photograph can be as problematic as taking one. - Alex Webb

Hi, thanks for the response. The red overlay is also not showing up when pressing "O". But, I'm referring to the actual button(s) that are on the pic for each dodge & burn. The button has a black center with a black thin ring. When you click on it, it allows you to modify / view that dodge & burn. None of those are showing up, but the tool works otherwise. Just can't edit any of them after because button(s) are not there.

There is a switch, "Shoe Edit Pins", which which allows you to specify when the button is/are displayed (Auto, Never, Always). My wisdom is learned from the experience of others.
