I've been absent around here for a while. I coach 8th grade volleyball and it's very time consuming. But that is over now and I have gotten out a couple times to shoot. Not many birds in the lowlands here right now (I need to get up the mountain soon) but here are a few typical desert birds I see darn near daily here.

Awesome Stuff Jeremy, you have some really interesting Birds over there and the cactus is something I just never see so it gives your images a little more interest to a maple and evergreen bush kind of guy.

Thanks Lupo, John, Mike and Jeff.

Yeah, the cactus out here are things that are pretty typical to me but odd for the rest of the country.
I'd love to have conifer trees and Maples around. I have to drive up the mountain for those though. :-)

Beautiful shots Jeremy, I also love the Cactus in your images, not something I have here. Al pick me up on the way. :)

Thanks Bret, Al and Craig.

You can come visit anytime, but the next 4 months are not a good time. LOL

October-April are awesome though. May is OK. September is a bit hot still.
