That is a reasonable expectation, but no reason for buying frenzy until it has been confirmed for this lens.

Buying frenzy? I just said that this lens may fit the bill. I will get it when I get around to it (I need a prime to shoot my wife's artwork).

MakisM1 Cream of the Crop More info Post edited over 8 years ago by MakisM1. | May 22, 2015 12:48 | #322 Until somebody posts RAW files the jury is out. Thank you for the jpgs though. The bokeh definitely looks more pleasant the the MkII, although shot at 1.8 I don't know why... the sharpness is what is to be expected (I'd like to see how my workflow in RAW affects it). From the early reports the (not entirely noiseless?) AF is good (not the noisy bzzzzzt, biki biki biki of the MkII). Gerry

I'll take it when I go pick up son and load the raw into Dropbox. It doesn't make much noise, but I don't pay it much attention unless it is really loud.

I cant really take much from the turtle shot as I dont know where you focussed (face looks oof). Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV
