Hi all, I know i'm probably in totally the wrong place to ask this, it's just that people used to be able to edit my photos on here but lately they can't, is this a change in the forum or do I need to re-enable something, cheers - Andy.

I think you now need to put an Editing OK in a Signature line. The old Editing OK tick box in the User CP went away when the site was upgraded to AMASS, I guess it was one of those small things that escaped Pekkas notice while he was developing the software. Considering that the site is now run on software custom built for it by one single person, i think he did a particularly good job with it. Yes there are some things that are different, and some people don't like bits; I really liked that you could hover the mouse over a thread and see the first line or so of the first post, but it's still a pretty good job.

Thanks Alan, I will Give it a go, I didn't realise only one person built the site, he's doing a great job.

insufferably pedantic. I can live with that.

He deliberately left it out. This decision was explained somewhere in the great mass of posts about AMASS.

I didn't read too many of those posts, so many of them seemed to descend into unpleasantness. I thought that the image editing thing was a good idea, as it made life simple, but if Pekka left it out on purpose I am sure he had good reason to do so. It is after all his party.
