i have 14 days to return it, had it 3 days, im in ks, its from the uk. when i got it it was in manual and i switched to auto took about 6 pictures and it was set to full. when trying to focus on something it sounded like a motor was running trying to move the elements in focus, but it just kept spinning when i had the shutter release button half pressed, released button, it stopped, pushed in button had the spinning noise, but nothing was happening. i flipped all the switches, auto manual and full/limit, set it back to auto and full and didnt have any other issues. took about 20 pics since. should i bail and send it back, or is this a common feature of this lens.
thanks mike,
btw it is sharper than hell, like wide open bottom of frame can see stitching in my kids shirt on my 5dc.
