We had a brutal winter with lots of snow, but I found a window of warmish weather during a light snowfall to get out and take some pictures of my girls. I had been wanting to try white-on-white for some time and, though it is as tricky as predicted, I am pretty happy with the results! Here is my girl. She models under protest, then shines like a natural. :)

I also couldn't resist these bold colors on my younger daughter. Red and black are just as challenging as white.

Here are a few more non-related favorites from this winter.

8.) Yes, it's nice to have a daughter who can knit awesome props for you!

They're wonderful photos! I love 1 and especially love her smile in 4. I love 7, very different from the others, with a different demeanor.

(Fwiw, I don't miss NH winters. Grew up in Boscawen.)

Thanks, Graham -- yes, winter in New Hampshire is BRUTAL! I figure I better learn how to take good photos in the snow. :) Thanks for the comments.

All the snow falling shots appear to be OOF. Try manual focus next time.

I like the white on white BTW.:-)

The one I like least is the B&W with girl in chair sitting sideways. Seems to have an "in-a-crusher" feel to it.

My favorites are the girl in the snow with her hands held together. And the woman in red where she's holding the hood piece with both hands.

All in all I like all of them, except one.

Interesting about the B&W as that seemed to be a fan favorite, but I like to see all reactions to my pics. Always interesting. Thanks so much!

15 is my favorite. Love the desaturated look of the red.
