All of a sudden I am tripping over night herons on my morning walk in my local park. Same place every day then I realized what was going on. They are always on the one black top road in the park, reason there are a lot of tiny crabs walking in the road and the herons can spot them very easy as opposed to in the grass/shore line area, easy pickings.
