Surprised to see Gary Fong switching to Sony

Gary Fong has long been a Canon user, so I was VERY surprised to see he has switched to Sony. In addition, Sony does NOT sponsor Gary...and he speaks at their booth at conventions and photo shows for no fee! If you know ANYTHING about Gary, this is pretty unusual: the guy is definitely all about the Benjamins ;-)a.

He has a video on his website that outlines all of the features of the Sony cameras, so if there are people on this forum who are looking for advice, look for his video tutorials on garyfong.com. They were very informative. I never considered a Sony camera until now!

You're a bit late to the party, he's been posting Sony stuff for a couple of years now (at least he's been posting various videos about Sony stuff for a couple of years) ;)

Yes, perhaps a little late with the "news", but it's still cool. His advocacy and support of the E-mount platform has only been growing stronger of late - doing a lot more presentations for Sony (which are terrific btw). So, the news isn't all that terribly late. I'm glad MichiganPhotog dropped in to call attention to Gary's videos. I am a subscriber to his youtube channel and really appreciate the valuable contribution he makes. :)

Old news but, when I saw his video showing the A6000 it was the Last Straw!!
Last Straw to my decision should I buy an A6000 with an e to ef adapter.
So I picked one up and have been a happy user.
