No much colour on the original photo or the subject. Which you think looks better?

One more for color; I didn't see your subjects in the B&W until I saw them in the second image.

I'm a sucker for mono, but this needs to be color all the way.

Every aspect just works better with color here.

Color for me. But then I'm an old 4x5, zone system, darkroom type and don't generally like digital B&W.

Colour it is then. Yes, it is hard to find the owl in B&W - was even harder to see it in nature, it didn't move and did not open the eyes.

Great catch. The owl is perfectly camouflaged. Color does looks a lot better in this case.
