Still processing a large amount of photos from our recent trip to the park, but thought I would post these in the mean time. The park is incredible as always but the surrounding area is so dry, and water levels so low it's hard to imagine the park will make it through the fire season without major problems. I don't remember ever seeing the area in this condition.

Nice shots, live an hour south and go there at least once a month. Was there today and had a winter storm roll through while I was up on Tioga pass, snow and hail. They had have had a couple of feet plus of snow the last 10 days or so but you are right, there are lots of dying trees that will cause major fire problems going forward.

Thank you. . .

We were originally going to travel west on Tioga Pass road, but the early storm last week changed those plans when they closed it due to snow. It actually reopened when we were in the park, but we were headed to Santa Cruz. It really didn't break my heart since 120 and motorhomes make for an interesting drive.
