And, I can recommend the 28-105 II, if you don't mind shooting at f/5.6 or narrower. It is a steal for the $125 it goes for. WARNING: I often dispense advice in fields I know little about!

Im I suppose most concerned with price. Im happy with a 24-105 F4, but if someone has a 24-70 2.8/4 I or II they will let go in a similar price range id be interested. Each one has something to offer http://dopelahomacity.tumblr.com/
