This weekend saw the first big airshow in Massachusetts in several years. Featured shows were the Blue Angels, a Canadian F-18, and an F-22 Raptor. Here's a few good ones that I got. Used a 7D, 100-400L at 400mm, f/8. As always, C&C welcomed.

Here's a full-scale selection of the pilots from the above image, showing where they're looking:

Sweet !

Thanks for sharing them, interesting to see how the pilots are orienting themselves. That is precision flying.

I'm mainly here for the snacks

Very nice set. Not that you should know but Canada adds the C to aircraft designations so we call it the CF 18 Demo Team. I've added the link to your photos to the CF 18 Facebook Groups page.

No Snowbirds shots? :)

Good job capturing Cheech in the CF-18 Hornet condensing the vapor around the jet in the high-speed pass, as well as the vapes of the F-22 Raptor.

There are some images here https://www.facebook.com …ia/posts/1045490948813286 (external link) of the Snowbirds in formation with the CF-18 demo jet during a photo flight over Vancouver Island a few weeks ago.

Ask and (sometimes) ye shall receive! Here's just a couple of shots from the several hundred I shot of the Snowbirds. What an amazing show they put on!

I was there too. Seeing the Raptor fly was probably the best part!

Very nice shots! I'll be posting some of my own in a different thread fairly soon.
