I have lost one of the caps to my 2Exii.. the one cap is the common cannon lens cap, bu the other, it is much deeper and nothing i have will work on it.

after looking around the 'net, i have not come up with the exact part number to order a new one..

can anyone give me a link, part number, or the correct info to order one?

thanks

Seems like any body cap you have lying around would work fine.

Unfortunately they don't fit, the extender cap is deeper to accommodate the protruding front element of the extender.

Answer already given by nardes.
Logical that if BnH list separate part for the TCs that body cap won't fit.

I have a piece of tape on my TC cap to easily identify it.

Sorry. My bad. I was thinking it was the same as my 25mm extension tube.

We can't all know everything about every facet of photography!
