My first trip. Will have a car and staying in South Lake Tahoe....Thanks in advance.

Emerald Bay and the Vikingsholm castle on the island. Right next to Lake Tahoe is Fallen Leaf lake, not as crowded and had some nice photo ops there too. Enjoy! Hard not to. Truckee River is fun, had a great raft ride. Not exactly camera friendly unless you have a water housing.... :p

There's a waterfall at Emerald Bay that is quite popular for photography. Can't think of the name of it off the top of my head. Water is flowing nicely right now.

Its called eagle falls, checkout sand harbor, and the whole coastline south of there. Bonsai Rock is probably one of the most photo'd rocks. Head up mount Rose hwy for a good view over the lake.
