This little wonder has been producing some top notch results. My hat comes off to Canon for giving us a reliably focusing f1.8 lens at such a low price. With great image quality to boot!

Mine felt that way until I adjusted AFMA. Now it focuses consistently. Every time.

Picked up the 50 1.8 STM a couple weeks back and so far it's been a blast. Focus is quick and smooth in AF during my little experiments, the lens hasen't missed a beat. Easy to focus manualy too :-D
