Goodbye to this awesome lens. Got a 1.4 version and going to part with my STM. Had been an outstanding lens for me. Loved the results. Just wanted to play with something else.

I love this lens - small and light (great for traveling - I often opt for it versus my much bulkier Tamron 24-70 f2.8 VC), plenty sharp on full frame (6D), even wide open, accurate focus (unlike the previous nifty-fifty models).

From our recent visit to Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls, Canada (hand-held, pretty high ISO, dark indoor place):

Got one from Canon refurb store to use with SL2. Planning to use for some indoor sports shooting. Hopefully AF can keep up with moving subjects.

Little soft with heavy crop, slow shutter speed and iso 800.
