In the process of updating various firmwares, I found that there is a new (11 May 2015) firmware set (v2.2) for the Godox v860C.
It seeks to address 2 small problems:-

  • To solve the problem of High-speed Sync function can’t work when using CellsII-C transceiver under the M mode.
  • To solve the problem of High-speed Sync function can’t work when using S1/S2 optic slave flash under the M mode.
(This is a direct copy of Godox/Shenzhen/Chinese English. Definitely not Phil Weston/Yorkshire English. Vastly superior to my non-existent Mandarin though  )
As usual with Godox (oh how I wish they'd pay a little attention to their website), it's nicely hidden on the Chinese language downloads page. Fairly near the top, the bit you are looking for is the 4th bullet point down - the one which reads:-

• 2015 逸客V860固件升级(佳能款中文2.2 ,佳能款英文2.2 )
V2.2版本:
1、解决在M模式下,使用CellsII-C热靴上无法高速同步问题。
2、解决在M模式下,S1/S2光控引闪时无法高速同步问题。

As an aside, I just also updated my YN622C-TX firmware to v1.7 and it was minimum 100 times easier than the Godox one.
In addition to hiding the update in the Chinese language page (the "English" tab extreme top right of the page doesn't translate this page but takes you elsewhere). For some reason, Godox INSIST that we have Java 7 installed - quite irrespective of having Java 8 already in there, in my case.

Good luck!!! It IS there, it does seem to work (English summer, not much chance to test HSS at the moment), it's most definitely an honest-to-goodness PITA to locate.

Other odd bits over the decades, simply to get the job done - not merely to polish and brag about cos I'm too mean to buy the polish!

Did you install Java 7 - it seems very fussy about which version is available.
Been there, done that, uninstalled Java 7 as I wasn't using it. Updates wouldn't work.
Godox installer INSISTS on using Java 7.
