I bought 24-70 first and got impressed with it, later on i bought 24-105 because the price in a local store was a bit cheap [Same the online B&H/Adorama price in 2007 without shipping and tax so it was a luck], and i was using 24-70 more until i dropped it on floor with filter stuck on it, then since 2007 until 2009 i was using 24-105 and got amazing landscapes and outdoor shots with it, then i fixed my 24-70 again and it is on my camera 1Ds3 always and now i don't know where i lost my 24-105, hehe

Although it is already June, the temperature today in the desert was pleasant even for an out door lunch in a lake side patio of a french brasserie; Yes this lake is in Las Vegas>

Great lens on a 5D2. As to being sharp, I did have to send mine in to Canon. It just did not seem as sharp as it should have been. It came back razor sharp.

One of my favorite shots of a sea lion while getting on to the boat in Galapagos

Mine has always been razor sharp across the whole range, without micro adjustments.

QUOTED IMAGE

Hmmm. Something is wrong. This looks like the time I accidently left it in Manual Focus, and wife grabbed it and started shooting without realizing it.
