Anyone else see the swastika

I didn't notice it either and I took the picture. It's actually an older building in Downtown Cocoa, Florida.

The swastika was indeed used as a geometric sumbol prior to the stigmatization of the Third Reich. It makes sense to see hints of it on a Masonic building.

Prat, nice photo but the horizon in that photo is way off. I know that will probably put the palms at an angle but the horizon is more important imho.

I saw that. But I was more concerned with keeping the palm trees straight. The palms are more prominent in the photo, so, to me that was more important.

The horizon is quite hazy (and unclear) to begin with.

I don't know. I would say the horizon is more important to have straight than the palm trees. By making the palm trees straight, you're making the houses lean back. Plus, everybody knows there's no such thing as straight palm trees. ;)

I suppose it's a matter of personal choice. When I took the picture, the focal point was the palms, especially the two in front; they are more prominent than anything else.
And frankly, the only reason the houses appear to be leaning back is that the horizon is tilted. Imagine the horizon being straight, and the houses look fine.

Again, it's a personal choice. Thanks for the comments, though. I do want to know how others perceive the same photo.

Taken at Aberdare Road races earlier today.

Overcast weather earlier today - still impressed with this lens - deservedly a classic.
