Just bought one of these after seeing so many brilliant images. Should hopefully recieve it before christmas. Can't wait. Hope its wide enough for me on my 40D.:D

I see you have a Sigma 17-70mm. I don't have anything wider than 24mm on my 40D and find that I don't shoot at 24mm that often either, but quite a bit at 105mm. I'd be interested in knowing if you miss the 17-24 when you switch!

Yes i'll keep you updated. If it is a problem i'll buy myself a Sigma 10-20 or a Canon 10-22 to compliment the 24-105mm.

10-22mm is one of my "next lens" choices! (unfortunately one of many)
