Ya know, I haven't posted on this thread for some time, although the 24-105 still stays close!

So, a couple months ago when some flies showed up on my deck to enjoy the sun, the 5DC and the 24-105 were close at hand, and I decided to grab the kit and get out and see if I could get anything worthwhile.

Well, the dang things were so slow that I had to crop them all at 100% just to have anything to show, but at least the nice close MFD of the 24-105 allowed me to get fairly close so the results aren't "garbage"!:

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.
You're a ghost driving a meat-coated skeleton made from stardust, riding a rock, hurtling through space. Fear Nothing!

You know why the mood is so good ... bet it's a lot because the ground and RR ties are wet.

And why I like forest shots in the wet season best.

I used Alien Skin Exposure 3 - Kodachrome 35mm Faded (Creamy, Brighter). It is an old film preset.
