Yes, I've used mine on the 24-105 and the combo works very well as a "cheap" macro setup. I've used just the lens alone to do some nice semi-macro work so it's a great lens on it's own.

Nice shot Keith. Looks like the HDR feature works well.

I am very pleased with the process- especially it's ability to align the frames when shot handheld. I like HDR when it's done with a natural look- as the human eye sees it.

Still my favorite lens for walk-around street photography. (Is it still "walk around" if I'm using a tripod? I guess so, since I'm "walking around" with the tripod. :D)
