Thanks for the compliments, regarding the image, yep my fault, I uploaded
Via Lightroom with too much sharpening. The original has no chroma at all.
Will upload better example when I get in later. Cheers.

Bianchi Cream of the Crop More info | Mar 23, 2013 23:28 | #6923 Jef96 wrote in post #15731357 Lots of people are asking about the different in IQ and sharpness between the 16-35 f/2.8 L MKII and the 24-105mm f/4.0 L. They are of course very different lenses, but comparing my 2 pieces of glass, the 16-35 MKII has better contrast, colour, IQ and sharpness than the 24-105. Here's a shot I took last week of the Tokyo Tower in Japan with the 16-35 MKII. ![]() Tokyo Tower For a wide angle lens, it's amazingly sharp. I hope this answers all your questions. Funny thing, yeterday I posted in the 16-35 II thread, thinking I shot the image with it, turns out it was my 24-105. So I just posted it here. I though I grabbed it out of my bag, but instead it was the 24-105.
