just slow shutter speed on a tripod. i made mistake on the first shot by leaving the IS on. i try to keep my aperture above 6 (6 and bigger number) with this lens. i would like to know how this lens compare with 24-70 mk ii at smaller aperture (6 and above)

I often have the lens at f/5.6 and it does fine for me (I'm not sure if this is what you mean by "smaller aperture" (smaller f-number?)...

i often use this lens at small aperture (bigger f number). I almost never touch f4. f5.6 is ok but still rarely use it.
