Yes sir. The 24-105 is a very capable lens for landscapes, I have found.
I use it almost exclusively for all my landscapes (and I'm not a pro by any means).

In the case above, a 10-stop ND filter was required, obviously, to allow for the long exposure. But otherwise, this was processed very minimally (I just bump up clarity and vibrance in LR).

Here's another.

A few from a 2-day fishing trip to the Fort William area last week...

The Nevis range...

Loch Lochy (the lochiest of all lochs)...

My pal tripped in the house and stuck his left hand in the fireplace, 2 days before the trip - 2nd degree burns!

1/50s gives just the right amount of motion blur for fly casting...

Reposting this from the 'Welding Glass (£1/$1 ND Filter) Exposures' thread;

This was taken with $0.90 of welding glass attached to my 24-105 reversed lens hood with rubber bands :)

Awesome and thank you for the advise, I am pretty new to this photography and i need to learn to utilize filters. Thanks for the response and another great shot! Cant wait to get out from behind my work desk and experiment.

Keep threatening myself to go all primes, but it's just too damn handy in walkaround situations. And it does a sterling job as well.

Nice photographs of a unique motorcycle...the old Suzuki 750cc triple, two stroke. Or as many called it...the Tea Kettle...in reference to it's liquid cooling and appearance.

I note and appreciate those chromed, triple, expansion chamber pipes.
A wonderful bike with an equally wonderful engine.
