Once a year i shoot UNLV cheer and dance teams calendar for free, i shoot 44 head shots and 12 different setups for their calendar. They then go on to sell these to help fund their next year. Its great to help them out, always do your part for the community.

Win-win situation for everyone involved. I shoot several events sponsored by local school foundation for free (I happen to be on the board as well). But dare I say it, my subject matter is a tad less exciting than yours.

Does the 24-105 cover most of your shooting needs for this particular assignment; long end for head shots and shorter end for group setup?

yeah the lens was perfect, on the headshot side i would have liked another 30-40mm to be honest though
