I like it very much.

Colors are fantastic.

I do, however, have some problem with the crop. 1 of 2 things. Either have the crop a little wider, to include the top of the birds head as well as enough on the right to push the eye to a 1/3 (if you can, if this was the framing when you took the shot, then it's too late). OR, crop down tighter to get rid of the background darkness - it's very distracting - as well as cropping the left, again, to push the eye to a 1/3.

Also, could be a teensy weensy bit sharper.

Overall, it is a very good shot nonetheless.

Thank you for your critique. I did struggle with how to crop this photo, if at all, but to be honest, this is the entire photo, uncropped. I made several attempts at removing the backgound above the bird's head and also tried cropped a bit tighter at the sides, but the result seemed disproportionate, compared to the original.

Crop the blackness out at the top at the very least (as Rad said), and you'll have a great shot. I like this because your shot is unique. Thousands of people photograph the flamingo trying to get the whole body into the shot and it's always "ho-hum". Your shot on the other hand peaks one's interest. Well done.
