Loxia 21 it is. Figure I'm more likely to OK use this since it's smaller. But this means batis 25 must go!

Build a big giant wall and make Mexico pay for it. Problem solved. What's next? :p

Seriously, my frustration is wondering if the US and its allies ever wise up to the notion that arming tomorrow's enemies to help us fight today's enemies is just not a recipe for peace in the future.

there will never be peace in that part of the world. hate is being breed into those people from the start, and now is spreading to other parts of the world, this whole refugee situation is just perfect timing for all the crazy ones to get mixed up with the few good ones and infiltrate west of the world with ease.

Oh, I really like this kind of imagery.

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,

Digitizing in a snap reflective glory

Thanks. I learned the Zone system of Ansel Adams interpreted in Lightroom and I'm enjoying it. There's a tutorial by Mark Wallace of AdoramaTV on youtube.

With regards to the 16-35 im actually finding myself thinking about the FE version (even though I own the 16-35IS). My recent issues with the TSE lens on the Sony has sort of put negative thoughts in my head about adapted lenses. Even though my 16-35 seems to be performing just fine I still find myself wanting the sony version to lose the adaptor and also save a bit of size. Im ok with my adapted sigma lenses as theres no real alternative in that price range for me. Im in no rush to change it out though

That was my thought regarding the 16-35 too. I'd prefer to stay native if possible, regardless of how much better the Canon is.

So I was going to get the 16-35 sometime in the next couple of weeks, but am toying with the idea of the Loxia 21 instead? Is that a stupid idea? I'm most interested in the 16-25mm focal lengths, as I have 25mm+ covered

My 16-35f4is is for sale.... just havent got around to putting it up

I have a A6300, kit lens and Sony 10-18 incoming tomorrow.
Decided an A6300 would be easier and more convenient to bring on my business trip to Europe.

Was thinking about getting one more lens for the trip...

Was looking at:
http://www.rokinon.com …tal-photo-lenses/21mm-f14 (external link)
http://www.rokinon.com …tal-photo-lenses/12mm-f20 (external link)
or the Sony Zeiss 24 1.8
Zeiss 12 2.8

Anyone used these?

i'm assuming it's for landscape, i would go with the rokinon 12mm f2(18mm for the A63K. For me it's wide enough. I never own one but it looks like all rokinon is good i owned the 14mm, 85mm 1.4 and now the samyang 135 and they are all good(and cheap). I thought the 14mm is too wide for me(on FF) so the 12mm for APS-C must be good(for me)

it will be combination of things... Landscapes, architecture, and indoor family shots, while in Europe on business I will get a chance to see of my family.

For architecture I should be fine with Sony 10-18...

What kind of concerns me is the indoor family shots, lighting might not be the greatest and after few shots, my manual focus skills will not be the best, haha

FYI just borrowed the falcon lite adapter again. Going to test it with the 50L to see if eye focus works. Last time I tested this, all I had were my f2.8 zooms. Build quality sucks and I'd be nervous about using this for an extended period of time....lens lock switch is super flimsy.

I'll let you guys know how it works.

if there's window use it. the best indoor light if available. if not, don't be scared of the ISO. and if you have to increase the ISO, crank it 1.5 stop more. then in lightroom go -1.5 on the exposure and you will get a noiseless high ISO shot. Google ETTR technique if you haven't heard of that yet.
