Sure is! That, really, was my main reason for highlighting the link. I've been following him for a while now and wanted everyone here to see his work too.

Vin, mannequin? Not to my eyes. I see an incredible melancholy captured, just huge emotional reflections of maybe what could have been.

I'm wondering if Mr. Dros might accompany me to Iceland. Great stuff David. Thanks for the link.
Well speaking of landscaping, I need to break away from the hawk and get on the stick. I still haven't decided
on a filter for the FE 16-35.

Speaking of photos like that, I recently purchased the Elia Locardi training "Photographing the World - Cityscapes" on F-Stoppers. Not very advanced stuff, but it does do one immensely valuable thing for me: super-motivates me. I just booked a two week camp trip to Charleston, SC and can't wait to be doing some cityscape and architecture shooting there.

Thats what I liked about flickr but more recently I have discovered how good the imagaes are on instagram (if you look at the right people). Absolutely mind blowing stuff. Im finding that really motivating at the moment (the weather is beating me though)

Damn you David :p I have spent the last half hour looking through this guys stream and its made me want to switch to the Sony 16-35 even more. I previously had the EF 16-35 IS and sold it. I instantly regretted it so bought the FE version. Changed my mind before it even arrived after reading negative things online about it in comparison to the EF version, returned it and bought the EF version again which I still have. Lately I have been thinking I would prefer the FE version to get rid of the adaptor (following my TSE saga) but in the back of my mind I was remembering the comparisons to the EF version (I should note though that the EF version is working nicely on the Sony, the only Issues I get is with reflections with my 16 stop and cant work out if its an adaptor issue or if its light through the filter holder)

However this guys stream is a perfect example of how capable the lens actually is. The EF version may be better at certain things but in real world shooting its negligible I reckon.

Where did anyone read anywhere the FE 16-35 is not good?
I was just reading about how good the maligned FE 28-70 really is...and not just one review but quite a few.

Theres threads comparing it to the EF version and the EF version comes out on top for certain things, but thats not to say the FE is poor at those things. Think it was mainly on FM forums I was reading them from memory. But like I said, the differences are probably not noticeable in real world scenarios which is why I have been thinking of switching to the FE version to save a bit of size and also remove any adaptor issues

Nice...way to poop all over someone's work.

I definitely didn't mean for it to sound like that. Her expression is the same in picture after picture. Very melancholy. I would like to see some joy de vivre! I like photo's that show the subjects personality, dreams, hopes, fears and love.:-)
