Skin so soft is a good defence against the scottish midge too

Frustrating night for me. Couldnt get the smooth reflections app installed before I headed out for sunset, then got to the location below and as I was standing waiting on the light to get better 3 cars full of neds (scottish word for hoodlums, chavs etc) arrived and parked up right beside me and got out and started messing about. I felt a bit uneasy so ended up packing up and heading off in the car. About 5 mins later the light was amazing pouring over the hills, a really intense orange glow and pink clouds. I was driving unfortunately.

This was the best I got prior to that. This location has potential I think so will revisit. The smooth reflection app would have been handy (or me remembering to buy the correct size step up ring)

Batis 25 (Is this lens not in POTN list?)

Super photo Eddie. I agree with David A also that a long exposure wouldn't have improved the shot. I think LE is overdone in many cases anyway.

And no, the Batis lenses haven't been added to the database yet. That's supposed to happen at the next update of the forum software but I have no idea when that will be.

Hope you don't mind maverick75, but I contacted Helen Oster on Twitter about this. Because I know she cares about her customers and she helped vinmunoz before I believe. :-)

Helen chime in earlier about this. check about 2-3 pages before this.

Yes, I noticed that before I replied here. But just wanted to clarify why it happened. ;-)a

^ Cool processing on those shots Lucas.

Here is another test image using the Smooth Reflections app. I've been wanting to shoot this beautiful building on the north side of SATX. I want to spend more time here and find a better composition but I liked the big cloud stretching across the top of the building. This buidling has such clean lines that I think will be great for LE fine art b&w.

My Sigma FE adapter is on its way. Should be here Tuesday.

Very cool! Those clouds look fantastic with the LE. And you mention LE fine art bw - wow, that would be a fantastic application for the app. ("application for the app(lication)" sounds weirdly redundant, yet isn't)

^ Good news! I was wondering if the Sigma adapter would be a better match with the Canon tilt shift lens than metabones.

Man I never even considered this. Hopefully it is!
