Well said Carlo. I used to be big into modding cars but now I don't see the point. Still have my 10 year old truck. I rather put my money into photography after all my other responsibilities are addressed.
On another note, I've been really enjoying this video series by Lee Acaster. I wish I lived in the area he does with plenty of coastline and mountains. He has a great video on shooting infrared that has me thinking about converting my a6000.

I'm a product of the tuner age that was the 90's. Had an MR2 back then that I used to spend my money working at a fast food joint on
I've always told myself that I'd get a mark IV supra TT one day to work on/play with. It's still on my bucket list. That or an R34 GT-R, which you can legally import now.

Very cool Alfredo. I have an old EOS-M and have thinking of converting that just for kicks...
And yes I wish I lived near a coast...or have actual changes in elevation other than the marshy swamp land of SE texas. We do have Galveston beach an hour away, but brown gulf water is not photogenic at all.

I wish the Atlantic coast wasn't is so boring mostly (compared to Pacific)...guess you have to go North towards Maine or something to find an interestingly dramatically rocky coastline.
I didn't realize the gulf water looked so brown in Galveston, every time I've been to Florida panhandle it looks a very nice aqua color. I guess it's that marshiness (vs white sand) you mentioned.

Yeah run-off from the Mississippi river delta get pushed into Galveston bay, so the water and beaches are mixed with a lot of sediment. South Texas beaches (padre, etc) have nice blue water and white sands...nothing like the Caribbean or southern Florida though.

And everything that "visits" my brain, has to pass the "justifiable test". There's a clear difference between "want to have" and "need to have".
That will never happen. I bet you will sell your Batis 1.8/85 (or any of the other Batis lenses you own) within 6-12 months.

Life is too short and too fragile to make every decision logically, sometimes you have to go with your impulses. To quote Andrew Jackson (and The Matrix) "To deny our own impulses is to deny the very thing which makes us human"
Besides, I buy almost everything used so when I get bored or decide for a change it costs me very little, I think of it as a long term rental

I could totally redo my bag soon
Sell cv15 & 28/2 replace with batis 18
Sell 70-200/4 & sigma 85 replace with 70-300
Sell tse24ii and replace with voight 10mm
Same, the batis lenses have completely changed my direction after trying them. Im thinking loxia 21 is too close to batis 25 so im thinking batis 18,25,85 and sell the 16-35. Im going to sell the sigma 85 and fe28. Thinlnill sell the rok 14 as not been using it. Will hold onto the rok 24 until I can test the batis for astro. Hold on onto the 35art too as I love the lens but wondering if its redundant

So, I know you are in the UK...and shipping might be a monumental PITA...but if and when you decide to sell the Rok 14mm...please message me...knowing yours is a good copy, I would be keen to help you lighten your camera bag...
