My wife pretty much insisted I give up my two floor-standing Klipsch Chorus II speakers, the huge Cerwin-Vega subwoofer, the 36-inch Klipsch center speaker and the Klipsch corner rear speakers and the Linaeum Optimus rear surround speakers and the receiver/amplifier that powered it all--well it did take up a lot of space in the living room. So, I downsized to the best soundbar I could find, a Yamaha YSP 5600--had to upgrade to a 4K/3D 40" TV to go with the Oppo cd/blu-ray/dvd/dvd-audio/sacd/netflix/vudu and everything else player. New entertainment center and new Klipsch (but smaller) subwoofer.

It works but I no longer can feel the air pressure moving in the room when I play music.

I hadn't gotten into headphones until I got so busy that I didn't have time to really sit and really just listen or watch anything. So now audio to me is headpones in the office, or a modest system I built in my car.

Its funny I always wanted a dedicated listening room/home theater, and now that I have one, I never use it because I never have the time.

Paradigm studios up front. Epik(now defunct) empire in the corner.

love it! I too would like a home theater setup someday.. someday...

I have a decent receiver but I cant blast the volume.. doesn't make any sense owning a system.. lol

are those back seats leveled ?

Just can't get the stupid app store to work. I hit "confirm and purchase" and all it does is refresh the screen and returns me back to the "confirm and purchase" screen. I tried changing payment methods to Paypal. Same thing.

Really upsetting; I am a fanboy of no company, but this experience is turning me into a Sony hater.

Wow, thanks! I have been surprised (and pleased) that it has been as well-received here and on Flickr. After I posted it I wondered to myself, "Just what the heck am I thinking, posting a photo of what looks like an explosion at the Skittles factory?" Oh well, it was a fun outing at the lake last evening. :)

I am grateful to have a gold mine of good landscape photography possibilities in the form of West Point Lake, (external link) which is an easy 10 minute drive from my house. The truly unique and special thing about West Point Lake is that it has an exceptional amount of public access parks all around it. I've been to many many lakes, but never one with so much shoreline access as this.

haha Don't hate! I used to cuss PlayMemories App store too and the whole install process.
Then I discovered (for me) it was the browser, Chrome would not work. Firefox wouldn't work.
When I switched to my laptop (Internet Explorer) all was good.
Just don't give up.

I am, I am. I used to take a nap floating on sound. Now it's just background music.

Anyone use an old 75-300 beer can with an LAEA3???

I can pick one up for 25 bucks but at least want to know that it will "slowly" focus with the adapter

Now trying IE 11. Same thing. I hit the "I Agree. Confirm Purchase" button and the screen refreshes and returns back to the same page with the "I Agree. Confirm Purchase" dialog. Terrible.

David, I had the same issue. I ultimately gave up and used my camera to login to the App Store and download the app. That worked fine. Only issue is entering your login credentials using the virtual keypad. Tedious. I use the Smooth Reflections app and the Touchless app (forgot the name but it's free).

yep, I remember I had to buy on the camera as well, after funding my account with $5. It's tedious to use the keypad, reminder of how much I need a touchscreen!

double checked all firmwares again, and 35 1.4 and 150-600 on the Sigma adapter work much slower then metabones, really reminds me a7R with old metabones.

To clarify, your 35 art has the latest firmware and with the mc11 adaptor you are not getting phase detect and its really slow?? That's very disappointing

I can't believe how well the SR app works on skies. No need for ND filters with my Loxia 21.

This is the historic Pearl Brewery which just keeps expanding.

QUOTED IMAGE

Are you finding it useable without any ND filters at all? That's good. I noted others thought you needed at least a 3 stop. I might try and install the app again
