Im very tempted to give it a try while its still half price

I haven't had the opportunity to give the plugin much of a try to be honest. That's why I haven't recommended it yet.

I didn't realise you had got it. Your new challenge is to produce a review for your fellow lounge members :D

Well, here's a quick edit I just did using Landscape Pro. The original image is a 4 image pano and I replaced the sky using one of the preset skies. That also changed the tones of the overall image to match. I didn't try dynamic lighting on this one.

Since this is the first time I've really tried using the interface, it was a little confusing at first and the selections weren't always accurate. Whether that was my fault or the software, only time will tell but to be fair, it's always difficult to get a good selection within tree branches.

Here's the before and after:

************ATTENTION***************
The SR app has been updated. I deleted the app last night and re-installed. E-shutter is now supported :)
So the 256 that would have applied to the 500,000 shutter life is now down to one!!!
Smooth reflections has so many applications. The new e-shutter also applies to Sky-HDR. Woohoo Sony
for listening and to the logical thing.

I just installed the app this morning and don't see where e-shutter is supported. Where do you see that?

I couldn't figure out why all the beach goers looked so odd until I saw the larger version on your Flickr page. :-)

Took the Sony out to DTLA this morning with the specific intent of testing out the SR app as a substitute for my ND filters. I have to say, it did a fairly decent job of getting me long exposures by using 8, 16, 32 or 48 actuations per "shot".
The resulting raw files are very clean, as mentioned by others.

I'm not entirely sold yet though. There's definitely a certain comfort and ease of use feeling with just using a plain ND filter. There's still something about Sony that I don't quite like compared to the simplicity and ease of use of the old school DSLR (my 6D).
I happened to have my 6D with me today (thought I'd so some comparisons), when I came across a glamour photoshoot nearby. I found myself just reaching for the 6D, the ef 70-200 and snapping a bunch of BTS and candids without any muss or fuss. I feel like I can do that sort of thing a lot easier with Canon.
I'm still torn...

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.
