Not owning the loxia 21 is making my decision easier. Im aiming for batis 18, batis 25, zeiss 55 and batis 85 and sell the 16-35

I know. If I didn't get the Loxia I would have gotten the Batis 21. Still need to get around to still the Batis 25....

I see. Good to know. Loxia 15 would be sweet. I considered the voightlander 15 ut will wait.

Yeah there are a lot of red flags with the voigtlander, and its not exactly a cheap lens right now either. Is the M mount version much cheaper? If the e-mount version isn't any better, might be worth considering that. I've also considered the Rok 14.

i loved it on my 70d and i figured i would give it a go on the sony,i love it,the extreme wide ange is great, the contrast and sharpness is awesome, and its relatively small compared to my 14mm f2.8 rokinon.that lens is insane sharp but its huge.

I love the voigtlander 15. The wide image of freeway above was taken with it.
It's VERY sharp, almost edge to edge. It's small and fits the Sony body perfectly.
That's one lens that I won't easily replace.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

Thanks for the feedback Nadim. It's a lens that's been on my mind for sure. Half the price of the Batis, and I'd be ok if it weren't sharp all the way to the edges as 15mm is really wide.

I'm not sure if the M mount is cheaper. I think it is. I sure wish I had the Rok 14 for my trip to Maui. We leave this Wednesday for 8 days! I'm taking my Canon 16-35 f2.8, Loxia 21, FE 55 f1.8 and Canon 70-200II f2.8. I will probably leave my Tokina 90 macro behind although the island has beautiful flowers and plants. I figured most of the trip will be focused on landscape. I hope to get some Astro shots too.

Wide-angle junkie talking here: I've decided I can justify any WA lens so long as it's sharp. :) Batis 25 is f/2 with AF making it a great low-light walk-around lens. Perhaps a great street lens, no? Wonder how well it does with the night sky?

Loxia has an arrestingly fine rendering which is wonderful for more crafted landscape/architecture shots (also a great street lens too). Keep them both; your house is big enough. :)

Another from last week...being able to extract so much more data out of each image is still mind blowing to me...I also have to remember to ignore the jpeg preview on the LCD...
