Love this shot Travis; wonderful work in every way. :)

Thanks David. It was a surprise image...I wish I had shot it at less than ISO 800...

I posted this image of the City Market of Kansas City (Missouri) last year in black and white, but a need to create a color version has developed, so I re-edited it. Processing looks OK?

Thank you. Its amazing that we get such cool spots only 20 minute drive from Auckland's CBD down here in New Zealand. This was taken at Maraitai Beach.

Let me tell you this picture makes me sick :)
It's been raining--monsoon level--for the last 3 days and the forecast is for 4 more days of it.
The killer is that we currently are in a no Moon phase :(
Great shot and you know I was pulling your let about being sick.

Only thing wrong with that pic is that the lens you used is no on my shelf....but you know what I shoot and it would get no use. Better in
your hands.

It seems like the Minolta 200 2.8 APO design could be handed down to an FE design without too much problem, right? Let's make it happen, Sony!

PERFECT example of why a 200mm FL lens was a go-to flower shooter for me... :(

Really miss having one...

Wide-angle junkie talking here: I've decided I can justify any WA lens so long as it's sharp. :) Batis 25 is f/2 with AF making it a great low-light walk-around lens. Perhaps a great street lens, no? Wonder how well it does with the night sky?

Loxia has an arrestingly fine rendering which is wonderful for more crafted landscape/architecture shots (also a great street lens too). Keep them both; your house is big enough. :)

I feel the same way David and actually need someone to not validate that.

The 21 and 25 really are very different lenses. What's actually edging the Batis 25 isn't the Loxia....is the RX1RII, as that has become my walking lens. The idea of being able to mount the Sony WA converter to turn it into a 25mm f2.8 is pulling me in this direction too.

Yeah I saw that...that 14mm might be the lens to finalize my kit.
