Using Venus (again) on the A7Rii. Have discovered a neat and cheap way to diffuse the light coming off the Nissin i40. Speaking of the Nissin, it is great for macro'ing skittish bugs especially when you are in a contorted position because of it's weight and size. This Hornet was image in the wee hours-around 0330 and not moving terribly fast. I want to get several shots for a possible stack but couldn't hold the position I was in long enough without severely shaking (old muscles/joints). Again I think the Venus is fantastic on mirrorless-it has issues with DSLRs with the blackout. On this shot I did have to leave TTL and go manual at 1/8 power to get through the diffusion, even then I pulled almost 2 stops in LR but at least I didn't have major blowouts-

Plus, I don't see them adding IBIS to their cameras.
