Just in case any of you needed a place to spend money and also needed a new bag, you'll be happy to know that Peak Design just put out a smaller version of the Everyday Messenger bag. I know a lot of people said the original was too big for their Mirrorless gear so looks like they listened and made a 13" version. Still looks kinda big but doesn't help that the one picture they show on a person is a smaller female.

$30 cheaper, so still on the expensive side at $220 but for those looking at it but thinking it was too big, at least they listened.

Ugh...This is exactly what I was hoping for (was actually hoping for an 11" bag) but I literally just bought a Tenba DNA 11 to carry around my Sony gear since my old Kata bag was too big. Oh well, guess I have to buy this one and sell the Tenba eventually. $220 is still kinda steep though...

Well, I must say first impressions of the Sigma SWII 24/2.8 are pretty good for what I want it for & for the £38 it cost me :)

Size, weight, FD mount, centre sharpness wide open is more than enough & the MFD is absolutely tiny!! Corners don't appear to be super sharp but I can live with that I think - considering the other lenses I use ie CV40 ;) But this was just a few local handheld snapshots rather than 'testing'

Sigma Super Wide II 24/2.8 at f/2.8 on the Sony A7 ;)

ISO 400 - 1/125 - f/2.8

this is excellent

i think i might personally crop it 4:5 to get rid of some of the image model left / camera right

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

For those curious the FE 70-300 has arrived. Nothing to put up since I was shooting with the a6300 but did play 20 min's before heading to the hospital. Build is great, overall weight is OK, definitely physically extends to reach 300mm --you might miss the non-zoom of the FE 70-200 in comparison. The lens is sharp at 300, I can see that already, but I was shooting ISO 4000 due to time of day :( The a6300 has improved sensor but 4000 wouldn't be my choice.
No lens/tripod mount and honestly that sucks on the a6300. Not as back on the A7Rii.
One thing I loved was the extra 100mm for BIF. Poof got to experience the dancing green boxes for the first time in AF-C/Zone and saw that the a6300 doesn't miss.....but this is an A7x thread so I'll leave it there.
Tomorrow I'll get something up with the A7Rii + FE 70-300mm ~a flower blossom might do~ to test for sharpness on the bigger sensor.

I hate to comment on kids or pets but this is stellar Eddie. The gleam in the eye is priceless no matter what a B85 costs.

Nice job. I know how difficult it is to shoot a white car too since my Caddie is white.
