Ha! Beautiful. Just know the hood and your two front tires are worth more than all my vehicles.

Lol!

Nice job. I know how difficult it is to shoot a white car too since my Caddie is white.

Thanks! Really? I find white cars to be the easiest since you see every contour. This was also a factor why i got it in white :p
The hardest thing for me are black cars. If you got no flashes i find it quite hard to get it good looking.

I just meant that for me, it's difficult to keep a white car looking white instead of grayish without blowing out details in the highlights.

I tend to underexpose most of my images. Not sure why and surely not best practice but fortunately it helps in this case :p

Looking good. I've certainly begun to give consideration to this lens (replace my EF 70-200mm f/4L IS). Seem like a good idea?

i love this image but i have to ask why such a shallow dof? 2500 at 1.4? why was that. i would love to see this at f5.6 or f8 so everything is in focus and razor sharp

Jury is still out David.
1. it was not what I wanted. I wanted 100-400mm or 400mm or 70-400 e-mount. So I think I was predisposed to not love it.
2. NO freaking tripod mount....not just for a tripod/monopod but I put a Kirk Security strap onto tripod plates for carry of almost all my
long lenses. Luckily it's a solid lens but (plastic construction, nothing against plastic though) not horribly heavy.

Now what matters-
IQ is good to my eye and the Bluebird was a gargantuan (probably 90%) crop. So it is sharp enough.
Zoom ring is smooth. Focus is fast.
And of course all focus modes.

Just wish I'd had another hour with it, time crunch getting pack up and I'm still working up to day of flight. It's going on the trip though so
after 23 days with it I'll know, but it will spend most of its time on the a6300 when needed. I've decided also to take the tried/true never let
me down 70-400gii.

Forgot to mention. If I were you I'd rent first when Roger Cicala gets one in.
