May 07, 2016 23:00 | #17328 thanx.i love the field of view on this lens,if u shoot a wide scene it almost doesn't bend the edges.weird thing is though it feels like a different focal length than on my 70d,the sony is in apc mode so i assume the field should be the same,on the 70d it seems different, anyways i love this lens on both cams. It has indeed a difference. Canon Aps-c is a 1.6x crop and sony is 1.5. Your eyes arent fooling you Sony A7RII | Sony A7S

OoDee Senior Member More info Post edited over 7 years ago by OoDee. | To be honest, this was a snapshot kind of capture. I had to keep walking so I didn't consider the settings. I just shot the way I typically shoot. And since it's stitch of more than 10 shots, I couldn't check a preview from the screen.

May 08, 2016 08:18 | #17336 I wanted to ask everyone's opinion on something. I made the decision to switch back to DSLR. It was not an easy decision, as I absolutely loved having the great image quality, DR, and focus accuracy. However, I just could not get used to the smaller body, or the EVF. (Nothing against the evf, it was great, but just not for me)

(Nothing against the evf, it was great, but just not for me) Now to get to my question.. I have been trying to sell my A7RII for over a week, and haven't even got an inquiry. Is the re-sale that bad for Sony bodies? Mine is about 4 months old, looks brand new, with <1000 clicks. I started at 3K, but then dropped my price another 300. Just not sure what is going on. What is a decent price for something like this? Thanks Tim that is the nature of camera body resale. Looking at comparable bodies like the 5Dsr and 5Ds, they take major hits on resale, I've seen 5Dsr's sell for 23-2500, which is pretty insane considering the initial price. May 08, 2016 09:00 | #17340 When I hear people mention that the small size of the Sony mirrorless cameras is hard to get used to, I chuckle. I began with a Canon AE-1 Program and A-1 which are a little smaller than the Sony. I thought the DSLR was too big for my liking. I still do, and really appreciate the small Sony.
