Get the CV 10mm and whenever you want a 15mm lens just stick it on your 6300.

I am seriously trying to be non-GASsy and be settled with my gear, but that CV 10mm is calling my name...got to figure something out to get it in my bag.

I'm holding off for now on the CV 10. Need to sell some things first.

no one is waiting for the Samyang 14mm?

is af really needed on a 14mm lens,i have the rok 14mm in 2 mounts and for most secenes infinity is fine,at f8 infinity is crazy sharp,i wouldn't use af on mine even if it had af.maybe wide zone af points but manual focus is easy on this lens

I am, going to skip the CV 10, the price increase doesnt fly with me, went from 899 to 999 to 1099..... I dont think it's worth that much, so I'll pass. The samyang looks to very good optically, will just have to make due with such a narrow 14mm

For the curious among you, here is what the FE 85 f1.4 lens looks like mounted on the a6300. That makes an effective 127.5mm f1.4 field of view.

Cool! But, how it looks on the camera isn't what is making me curious. What is making curious is wondering if it can simulate a 135mm(ish) f/2 when shooting it at f/1.4 on the 6300.

no, not needed, HOWEVER, it's at 100g lighter, shorter/smaller, IBIS will be automatic.

it's a tough call, I think the existing 14 is too big, and I dont like the size of it, a smaller version I would like since it's clearly a notch up than my small CV 12. I simply dont carry because it's too big. If it were small like the voigtlander, I'de take it instead, it's much better optically, no issues there.

It's great to see everyone getting new toys. I'm liking what I'm seeing out of the 70-300 and CV10. I'm just patiently waiting for my Batis 18.

I've been shooting more with my a6000 and really enjoying it. I need a 35mm lens though. I only use the excellent FE 55 on it.

I DO!!!!! its called...... If the wife ever looked at my business credit card she would Kill me. Thats my first world problem. She is going to be out of the house Sat so I am going to shoot all the pics of the things I was supposed to sell BEFORE getting this stuff and get it on EBAY quick to pay everything off.

I was going to push on the Batis and get it from another source vs BO at Adorama then I realized.... Take a breath this may be the best scenario for now. Which is not like me to take a breath.
