Big Beach on the South side of Maui. Beautiful beach which stretches about a mile long. Great place to catch the sunset. This is looking the opposite way from the setting sun.

Wow. That is wide. And the 70-300 looks pretty sharp in the center. :)

The trick to really cool wide-angle photography is getting close to your subjects...Those buildings look like they are a mile away they're so small. So, get really really close and fill your frame with them. :)

no, not needed, HOWEVER, it's at 100g lighter, shorter/smaller, IBIS will be automatic.

it's a tough call, I think the existing 14 is too big, and I dont like the size of it, a smaller version I would like since it's clearly a notch up than my small CV 12. I simply dont carry because it's too big. If it were small like the voigtlander, I'de take it instead, it's much better optically, no issues there.

oh i didn't know it was smaller, that would be great.mine is huge,i also have the rok 12mm f2 for my m43 and its tiny compared to the 14mm. i would sacrifice a few stops for a smaller lens. if the rok 14mm was a f4 and half the size would be fine

it's cool for sure, Nadim missed out on our little shoot, he's gonna have to figure this spot on his own

the focus stack is kinda dirty, but too lazy to do anything about it.

Lovely shot.
I think I've shot from this spot before.
Sorry I missed it tonight. Plans changed. I do intend on adventuring out tomorrow though. Stay tuned.
