I used to always try and sell lenses and bodies on POTN first and didn't manage to sell a single thing so don't even bother trying now . We also don't have Craig's list so it's straight to eBay for me. Had luck this time and actually made money on 4 of the 5 lenses I sold

even after all the ebay fees, listing fees, paypal fees, shipping fees?

Everytime I sell on ebay, i'm like, I made some profit great!, and month later ebay is like give us $120 bucks! now!

Eddie, here's what Mark Galer has to say about the Lock-on AF tracking with the a6300 and shares the settings he uses. For example, he speaks of using Live View to eliminate or minimize the black out between frames, even though this will reduce the max burst speed to 8fps instead of 11.

Thanks gene , I'll watch that just now

I charged for shipping and listing was free. I sold the lenses for more than I paid but the fees cancelled some of that out

The recent price hike has left a bad taste for many. Looks like a great performer. I'll wait for the price to come down even if it takes a year.

it started at 899, then 999, then 1099..... they seem to be gouging any chance they get.... better if they started at 1099 rather than a bait price.

the CV 10 weighs in at 375g vs samyang 14 which will weigh 460g?

10 is drastically wider, you can really own both, but due to the price increase, I'll surely wait for the SY to make an appearance.

Might just revert to the previous plan of playing the voigtlander FE 15 lottery. That lens would be a nice and compact 22mm on the a6300.

If you're looking for a wide lens for the a6300, I might suggest the Sony E mount 10-18 f4 lens. This way, you would have the 10 to 14mm+ range covered in one lens. It's also a bit faster than the Voigtlander 10mm too.

I hear ya Charlie.. I was feeling a little odd when price went from 899 to 999, but just bought it anyways.. Never expected it to hike to 1099. Just wait until they drop the price, but do try it out once at least. It is really really wide and fun!

Speaking of SY14, I think this is another lens I'm waiting to hear about.

Instead of tilting the camera up to get everything in the frame (which it looks like you have done here) set the camera perfectly level using a hot shoe bubble and then shift up to get the full building in the frame. That way you will have perfect verticals.

Tilt is a whole other kettle of fish though and relates to changing the focal plane

I'll check it out. To be honest I wrote it off without checking previously as I assumed it would be poor IQ as it was cheap

Edit - just realised its not cheap. It's actually exactly the same price as the voigtlander fe15

Yes, absolutely. The whole point of a tilt shift with architectural photography is to ensure perfect verticals. If you don't do that then you don't need a tilt-shift at all.

Sharing more a6000 shots. Also getting a good workflow down using Nik Color Efex. I've been watching old tutorials on how best to apply the filters.
