I shouldnt even be allowed to own a A7 since I accidentally leave it in crop mode all the time.

Wish the auto fuction supported adapted lenses on a dummy adapter but it doesnt. I always have to manually change it, then I always forget to change it back.

The problem is when not in crop mode theres a huge blackout, which makes it hard to focus, in the Viewfinder and LCD.

It's 500 miles from one side of my state to the other if that counts for anything.....accents here in the mountains
are way different then in the flats out in western Tennessee.

My wife's family has a home in the Fredonia Mt./Dunlap area and man is it gorgeous out there.

Contrast that with the Memphis area, which to me seems more like Mississippi. But then again, maybe that is because I spent as much time in Tunica as I did in Memphis on my visit there years back ;)

I really need to start forcing myself to take my a7S with me... I feel almost guilty letting it collect dust like this :( People in this thread would think I just don't shoot anymore, my Fuji gets all the love these days

Yet I just can't bring myself to let the a7S go...

I'm going to be putting mine up for sale if you're interested. I don't even know what to ask for it offhand. It's a factory refurbished lens and has worked perfectly for me. Drop me a pm if you'd like.

I lurk in the Fuji threads so knew you were posting. I was expecting this post to say you were selling your Sony there when I clicked it

need your personal opinion again :) this time from those who used/uses A7s and how it compares to a7II
now shooting with A7II and need to add 2nd body (more for paid jobs like weddings etc, in weekdays will use only one body)
price wise used a7S ~ new a7II
about a7II everything clear
looking from wedding perspective, its better to add A7s due its high ISO performance, silent shutter. IBIS, 12mp would not be an isue.

So about a7s:
1. how is AF in normal light/ low light compared to a7II (-4 EV vs -1EV, a7s have only CDAF)?
2. how ISO performance above 6400 (info on web says, that till 6400 performs like other A7*, and the gem starts from 6400 and up to 51tk)?
3. if Im not wrong, a7S also have face recognition and eye-af, correct?

two equal bodies or a7s + a7II combo, that's the question :)

I think i use it since it came out and i really love that lens. Its a fantastic performer, and as sharp as one would need it. Its actually the lens that id never sell just because of its performance and versatility of zoom
