Do you have an a7R II? It also has a fully electronic silent shutter just like the a7S.

I agree though: the a7S makes an outstanding second camera and I wish I had one in my bag still. My favorite thing about the a7S (besides the silent shutter) is the "low resolution". 12mp is absolutely perfect for so many types of shots and it's a lot easier on the storage space.

I have the 7R, 7S, 7 II, and 7R II.
Yeah, I know, impulse buying. Wife hates it.

The 7S is so low-light capable and so compact and produces great images, even if only 12 MP, that I see it as an ideal street camera--the only complement to the M 240, especially is using a macro-focusing adapter for M-mount lenses.

NOTICE:

When you update Photoshop CC 2015 to the newest version, 2015.5, you will loose all the links to your plugin filters in the Filter dropdown menu. To fix this, I went to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 2015", Open the Plugins folder and select all the plugins. Copy all the plugins then go to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 2015.5". Open the Plugins folder and paste your filter plugins here. They should all now appear under the Filter dropdown menu as it did in your older version.

Much appreciation for the heads-up Gene. Is this the update with the Crop Content Aware feature? I've been badly wanting that one as I do a lot of perspective corrections.

Yes, it is David. Here's the link to view Julieanne Kost describing the new features:

Here's another new feature, the Face-Aware Liquify Tool. Vince should like this one.

I'm planning to attend the US vs Argentina game tonight in Houston. I'm taking my a7RII and Loxia 21 lens. Is it possible to do a pano of the stadium indoors or is it a big pain to stitch properly because people are moving?

Every stitched pano of a stadium I have seen has had a lot of decapitations in the crowd. :p But those were always multi-row stitches with a Gigapan. With the Loxia, you'd be having the camera in portrait/vertical mode and capturing a single row pano, right? Might be better that way. Be sure to have big overlaps with your frames for smoother stitching. You stitching with Autopano Giga? Hope so - Photoshop sucks at pano stitching.

"Select and Mask" makes me so happy! Not a huge new feature, just making an old one easier/better.

Thanks David. Yep in portrait mode and a single row. I will probably do a 2 row as well and compare which I like best. I had the trial version of Autopano Giga. I will give it another shot. I've seen some great results stitching Milky Way panos with it.
