^ thank you for testing.

Eddie, how are you liking the Batis 18?

Been really busy at work so not had a chance to shoot it yet. I tested it for decentering tonight though and I think its got issues so it may be going back in the return period. I need to check again tomorrow as its getting dark now

why did you return the nissin? and what version?

isn't a battery back a bad idea? what guarantee you have they will be available a year from now.

it was the di700A.... i guess overheating issue. i tested it with successive shots at 1/2 power and i get the same numbers(shots) with my sony HLV60M so no advantage there... i tested it that way because it can happen on weddings.

Those trees look naked without pretty girls near em...Just sayin.

I too have been incredibly busy, so I have not had a chance to enjoy my Batis 18 or 25 in about 10 days. I plan to change that this weekend.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

your not worried about the battery pack?

nice thing about AA is if you ever need some for your flash you can find them everywhere.

plus feels like Godox is a rather new company, how long will they last?

^ David, fantastic reflection and vantage point of the falls!

Here is a single shot from NRG stadium of the Copa America semi-finals, US vs Argentina. Not bad seats, huh?

good point on the batteries. they have a version using double AA batteries if you like(Godox tt685s). for me though, i don't worry too much. I'm more worried of what i'm shooting. I just came from a shoot and there's absolutely no misfires. I love it.

they have established the products really good so if the company won't survive, i'm sure somebody else will buy them.

Nothing to do with the A7, but the just announced mirrorless Hasselblad X1D in one day sold out all units that will be delivered in 2016 (with the Sony 50mpix sensor) - amazing.

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.
